Welcome to Manor Farm Bed & Breakfast
Manor Farm lies in the village of Burcombe, ¼ mile off the A30, 5 miles West of the beautiful cathedral city of Salisbury. The Edwardian stone farmhouse is in the middle of this attractive village, with the River Nadder and meadows to the north and rolling down land to the south.
A warm and friendly welcome awaits you in this comfortable farmhouse. The two bedrooms, a double and a twin, are both ensuite with a shower, have colour T.V. clock radios and a tea/coffee tray and many extras not normally found in B&B’s.
Relax in the spacious sitting room which gives access to the lovely walled garden for guests to enjoy. Books are very much in evidence with several about Wiltshire.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, and are wonderful. Sue uses flesh local produce and provides a tasty and substantial meal to set you up for the day.
This is an excellent base for visiting so many places. Stonehenge, Salisbury and Wilton (Wilton House and the Italianate church are worth a visit) and Bath, Dorchester (Hardy country), Portsmouth and The New Forest are within an hr ¼minutes drive
Several National Trust properties are easily accessible with Stourhead 25minutes drive.
For those who enjoy walking, the magnificent wild flowers and birds add to your splendid walk, along with views of the cathedral, especially on a glorious summers evening.
The local pub provides an evening meal (5min walk!) as well as several other places Sue can suggest.
